Reason

The interface is influenced by my admiration for minimalism, and is developed from a template supplied by Blogger.

Method

Default fonts are san serifs, with Myriad Pro as first choice. The colour scheme is based on the more exciting shades of grey, enlivened with brief splashes of deep red. Excluding persistent navigation, text links are deep red, mouse hover deep grey and visited links light grey. (This convention is broken here uniquely for illustration purposes only).

Outcome

The limited colour scheme, spacious layout and asymmetrical alignment combine to create a fresh, clean and easily navigable interface to reflect my love of simplicity in man-made objects.
