Lying to the Ombudsman
Council employee Catherine (Kate) Dack
Describing herself as a 'complaints officer', Dack lied to the Local Government Ombudsman in 2002 about the contents and substance of a letter sent to me in 2001 by the Council employee Oladipo Koleoso. The lies told by Dack in the Council's replies to the Ombudsman's questions effectively disguised the refusal of Koleoso to deal with my complaints of nuisance from a neighbour identified throughout Bent Council as nfh.
- Did she lie because, accidentally, she was given false information by colleagues?
- Did she lie because she is incompetent and failed to verify this information?
- Did she lie to disguise her incompetence or that of colleagues?
- Did she lie because she herself inherently is dishonest?
- Did she lie because, intentionally, she was given false information by colleagues?
- Did she lie because of a culture of corruption within the Council's 'housing service'?
- Did she lie because of a culture of corruption within Brent Council itself?
The documented evidence shows that the Council employee Catherine (Kate) Dack lied to the Ombudsman. The logical conclusion is that Dack is either incompetent, dishonest, or both.
In 2005, Dack described herself as 'repair complaints and disrepair manager'. While this individual remains an employee of Brent Council, she poses a severe obstruction to those honest employees of Brent Council who carry out their duties honourably and with the interests of residents of the London Borough of Brent uppermost.
